External users may visit for reference and research purposes, subject to the applicable rules and regulations.

Borrowing And Returning
Kindly notify the counter service if you need to renew any books on loan. Please provide the book's title, call number, accession number, and due date.

Inter Library Loan Service (ILL)
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service provided by libraries that allows users to borrow reading materials from other libraries within a consortium or according to the supplying library's rules and regulations.
The 6-month course participants and IDFR staff are eligible for ILL.
Before requesting an ILL, ensure that the books are not available in the IDFR library's collection.

The more detailed your request, the easier it will be for the library staff to identify the books.
Depending on the library's policies, you will be alerted when the requested books are available for pickup.
Return the books by the due date indicated by the library. Failure to return books on time may result in a fine or other penalties.
You are allowed to borrow two books from the library at a time, or according to the rules and regulations of the supplying library.
Books often arrive between 7 and 14 days, depending on the supplying library and its location.
The library notifies all requestors via email or phone. Please confirm that your phone numbers and email addresses are up-to-date. You can pick up the material at the first floor service counter during business hours (Monday through Friday).
Library Facilities
Computers are provided on the first floor. However, the library do not provide word processing services to users.

Library Collections and Resources
Local magazines and bound journals are available at the ground-floor leisure reading area. Current issues of international journals are displayed on the first floor.

OPAC stands for Online Public Access Catalogue. It is an electronic database that allows users to obtain information about a library's collection. OPAC enables users to search for books, journals, multimedia materials, and other resources in the library's collection.
To find specific items or browse information on a certain topic, users typically search by author, title, subject, keyword, or other criteria.

To find printed materials in the library, please search through our library OPAC at URL http://neuseal.kln.gov.my/webopac Then you have to write down the call number and go to the correct shelf to retrieve the book. Please refer to any staff available if you need any assistance.
