Journal of East Asian Studies publishes the latest social science fields on East Asia and Southeast Asia. This journal is a combination of theory, empirical contributions, and substantive engagement with the major issues facing the region. JEAS publishes primarily in the fields of comparative politics and international relations, including also the fields of political economy and security studies.
